Peggy has been practicing yoga for several years, has recently been certified by the OmBodies’ Yoga Studio teaching training program and is now a RYT-200 with Yoga Alliance. She has also completed training on Mindfulness for Stress Management through Mindfulness of Mid-Michigan at Partners in Change.
Her love for her own yoga practice, and the balance and grounding she has personally experienced through the connection of mind, body and spirit drove her toward deeper study. Her goal is to integrate the practice of Yoga (pose/asanas, breathing, centering/meditation) along with mindfulness discipline to increase the health and well-being for all students. Her classes are a vinyasa (breath + movement) flow style with options offered for all levels to encourage safety and alignment. A variety of sun salutation flows and different focus areas (muscle groups, peak poses, yoga philosophy) are offered to keep each class interesting and inspiring!
